Princess Seams

I mentioned before that I prefer cutting down princess seams down to 1 cm. Here’s why:

Pin the pieces together with the side-front piece on the bottom. Stitch together slowly, making sure that no folds get under the needle. This works best with a smaller stitch length.

Press open. I don’t have a tailors ham, so this is usually a very annoying step for me (Note to self: save up for proper pressing gear).

And there you have a very beautiful princess seam without any easing or clipping. Wasn’t that fun?
